“After finishing secondary school, I was keen to pursue further studies related to public relations. Choosing the right university and course would help me accomplish my goal and I am glad I discovered the Bachelor of Commerce Public Relations and Marketing double major at Curtin Malaysia. It was the ideal course for me to pursue my career interests and I really enjoyed it. Throughout my years at the university, the more knowledge I gained, the more enthusiastic and passionate I became about my studies.

“Currently, I am working with Resorts World Genting as a PR executive, and I am glad to be able to apply much of what I learned to my job. The public relations course emphasised creative thinking and helped me see things differently and think of creative to deal with different situations. Now, I can confidently come up with lots of ideas for events and publicity to enhance the resort’s reputation.

“The cultural diversity at Curtin Malaysia also helped me expand my perspectives of different cultures and practices, which I now find very important as a public relations professional serving the resort’s guests and media from a wide range of countries.
