“My course at Curtin Malaysia equipped me with the knowledge and attributes to adapt to a challenging and fast-changing construction environment. As a designer in a geotechnical firm, I’m responsible for designing heavy foundations such as pilings, pile caps and ground beams.

“Curtin Malaysia instilled in me a passion for learning that saw me through my course and now helps me in my job. Even though I’ve only been on the job for six months, I am able to carry out reinforced concrete, heavy foundation and ground improvement design work. As communication is crucial in my job, I’m glad that I picked up communications and teamwork skills along the way too and am able to interact with people in different fields and at all levels.
