Coming from Zimbabwe, Curtin Malaysia is like my second home. Its warm, gratifying environment makes me smile as I make my way to campus each morning, excited to face the challenges of the day. As a busy mechanical engineering student, the only free time I really have is during the lunch break each day, but I guess the toil will be worth it in the long run.
Despite my busy schedule, I have managed to try new things. I participated in a Model United Nations Curtin Malaysia event on campus and it was a life-changing experience for me. I also represented Curtin Malaysia at an event organised by Asia Pacific University and won the best delegate award. That, too, was quite an experience. –Wayne Banda, Mechanical Engineering student
