“Studying at Curtin Malaysia allowed me to experience an Australian education in here Malaysia. The experience was very different from the typical learning environment in Malaysia. More than half of my coursework was practical, with a very up-to-date syllabus, which helped ensure I’m job-ready with the right knowledge and skills to enter the industrial workforce.

“Part of the coursework involved travelling to other locations for field work, which enabled us to apply theories we’d learned in the field. Also, the course helped me acquire teamwork, critical thinking and presentation skills, which I will continue to apply in my future career.

“What’s great is my degree is internationally recognised and will look good on my resumé as I plan to study for a Master’s in Japan soon.” –Thomas Yeo Jing YiBachelor of Science (Applied Geology) graduate
