“Starting my Software Engineering degree at Curtin Malaysia without a strong programming background was daunting. I had so much to learn, but I soon realised that not knowing everything was simply the beginning of my journey.

With supportive lecturers, structured learning resources and hands-on projects, I gradually developed my programming skills and confidence. Although challenging concepts and frustrating coding errors sometimes tested my patience, each obstacle taught me to persevere, solve problems and keep learning.

Beyond technical knowledge, I have also strengthened my teamwork, communication, time management and independent learning skills.
