“I’m a mechanical engineering student. My initial interest was actually in chemical engineering because I thought it would be like chemistry class in school and fun working with all kinds of chemicals. However, I finally decided on mechanical engineering because I think I will have a better chance of securing a suitable job in my hometown, Penang, with a mechanical engineering qualification.

One of the challenges I face is public speaking but I’m gradually improving my communication skills here at university.
