“I love collecting dinner sets and anything that can complement them. I consider myself a ‘plate addict’. Seeing their beautiful motifs give me great pleasure and satisfaction. My collections consist of plates adorned with floral patterns, castle or cottage scenery or similar patterns with that distinctive English feel. My current favourites are Portmeirion, Royal Albert, Spode Blue Italian, and a Malaysian brand, Vantage. Drinking tea from my Royal Albert set makes me feel like the Queen of England! My collections are proudly displayed in cabinets and on the walls of my house. Once in a while, I would use them on special occasions like birthdays or gatherings with family and friends. The Portmeirion sets are very practical and durable, so I tend to use them on a daily basis. But there were incidents when my family members accidentally broke them.
