“Hi, I’m Seraphina Jewel Supang Solomon, and I’m currently pursuing my Foundation in Engineering and Science at Curtin Malaysia.

When I was exploring my options for higher education last year, I was drawn to Curtin Malaysia because of its strong reputation and the wealth of resources available to help students succeed. I was particularly impressed by how I could apply for the foundation program using my SPM trial results, which made the application process much smoother for me. I knew right away this was the place where I could grow both academically and personally.

From day one, Curtin Malaysia has felt like home. During Orientation Week, the Orientation Leaders were incredibly welcoming, which sparked my interest in joining the organisation. I was eager to find a club that would not only be fun but also help me sharpen my communication, adaptability, and leadership skills. Joining the Orientation Leaders was the perfect choice.

In fact, it’s been a journey of growth that has exceeded my expectations. I was even given the chance to step up as the Head of Fun Squad for 2024, where I get to plan exciting games and activities, work with people from all walks of life, and build my time management and creativity – valuable skills I apply daily, even as I juggle the demands of being an engineering student.

Looking back at the friendships, the challenges, and all the moments that have shaped my experience here, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose Curtin Malaysia for my higher education.
