“Being from Miri, Curtin Malaysia felt like the natural next step, but I arrived unsure of my direction. With only a Foundation in Engineering and curiosity to guide me, I explored. A simple programming unit changed everything. What began as interest quickly grew into passion, leading me to pursue Software Engineering.

University life pushed me beyond academics. Surrounded by diverse people and perspectives, I learned as much from conversations as I did in class. Balancing studies and personal growth wasn’t easy, but those challenges shaped my resilience.

Joining clubs became a turning point – bringing friendships, confidence, and a deeper sense of belonging. Along the way, making the Dean’s List reminded me that the hard work mattered.
