“As a child, I always imagined myself working in an office. I would watch my mum getting ready for work, doing her hair and putting on her makeup, and thought I would be like that someday. I knew, of course, that I needed to do well in school in order to achieve my goal, and that’s what I did.
“Fast-forward to the present day and here I am – an assistant officer responsible for student records in the Student Services Department. I was an Intern for four months under the Department before applying for a permanent position, and during that time, I was really excited about learning new things, adapting to the work culture and meeting new people.
“Working at Curtin Malaysia has taught me patience and the importance of teamwork, continuous self-improvement and effective communication with students and colleagues. I am so honoured to be part of Curtin and help fulfil its vision, mission and the core values.” –Rossaryna Messly, Assistant Officer (Student Records), Student Services Department
