“Hi, I’m Management and Marketing student Rachel Jill Tang Tuang Mei  Let me take you through my student journey at Curtin Malaysia, which has been quite an incredible experience so far.

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing different modes of learning – two years of online study, one year of hybrid learning, and now the full face-to-face experience.“When we were studying online, I joined the Orientation Leaders, where I picked up invaluable leadership and effective communication skills, and the art of engaging with the public.

When we returned to campus and transitioned to hybrid learning in 2022, I led the Orientation Leaders for two semesters, and together with my amazing team, we facilitated six orientations. It was an experience we’ll cherish forever. The challenges we faced strengthened us, and the fun we had together made it an awesome experience.

I also joined the Curtin cheerleading team and participated in the mini-fun games during the Curtin Cup 2022. Those experiences allowed me to make new friends who have been a significant part of my university life since.

This year, I’m part of the Curtin Basketball Club’s marketing team. It’s an absolute joy communicating news and updates on the club to students to keep them up-to-date on our events and activities.
