“Hi, I’m third-year Cyber Security student Raahim Haider.

As I near the end of studies at Curtin Malaysia, I can’t help but feel an immense sense of pride in having studied here. It’s been a transformative journey that has not only enriched my academic knowledge but also allowed me to make a meaningful contribution on the local community in my role as president of AIESEC at Curtin Malaysia.

AIESEC is a global youth organisation that focuses on developing leadership qualities and promoting cross-cultural understanding, and our dedicated AIESEC team at Curtin Malaysia has carried out numerous projects to promote the importance of education in the local community. Our projects have included organising workshops and mentorship programs, and providing resources and support to underprivileged students. It has been very satisfying to see the positive impact of our efforts on the community.

My study of cybersecurity has also been very fulfilling. Cyber security is not just about protecting data and systems; it’s about safeguarding the very fabric of our digital society. The cyber security course at Curtin Malaysia has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to tackle the ever-evolving challenges in this domain.

Curtin Malaysia has been more than just an institution of learning; it’s been a place where I’ve grown, learned, and made a difference. The memories, friendships, and knowledge I’ve gained here are invaluable, and I look forward to taking what I’ve learned and experienced to the next phase of my life journey.
