Noelle Liew Wen Xin

“A year ago, I completed my Bachelor of Communications at Curtin Malaysia and returned to my hometown, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, to start building my career. I officially closed that chapter at my graduation in May.

Today, I work as an education counsellor at a university college – promoting courses, advising students, and organising outreach activities – while pursuing a Master’s in Education (Educational Leadership and Management).

I didn’t always plan to work in education. The idea came to me in the final months of my degree, reminding me that it’s never too late to change paths. The skills I gained at university, especially communication and adaptability, continue to shape my work.
