Muhammad Arshman ul Haq
“Hi, I’m Muhammad Arshman ul Haq, a final-year Mechanical Engineering student at Curtin Malaysia.
My university journey began in March 2020 when I arrived in Malaysia for the first time for my foundation year and unfortunately the global pandemic and ensuing lockdowns as well. It was a challenging initiation, to say the least.
So, my university life didn’t really unfold until Semester 1, 2023, and it’s been nothing short of incredible since. The shift from online to face-to-face classes was initially daunting but turned out to be a game-changer. Studying units like ‘Linear Systems and Controls’ and ‘Machine Design’ brought a new dimension to my academic experience, bringing much excitement and opportunities to apply what I was learning to real-world applications.
The resumption of face-to-face classes also brought a sense of normalcy and joy. I found myself not only embracing the traditional learning environment but thriving in it.
As I near my graduation, I can’t help but reflect on the profound impact this journey has had on my life. Curtin Malaysia has been more than just an institution; it’s been a welcoming second home, shaping not just my academic understanding but also my character and worldview. As a result, I’m now poised to embark on my next adventure with a sense of readiness and anticipation.” – Muhammad Arshman ul Haq, Mechanical Engineering student
