Lydia Mujah
“Hi, I’m Lydia Mujah, a long-time member of the Faculty Administration at Curtin Malaysia’s Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences. Sixteen years ago, I joined this community, and it’s been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. Curtin Malaysia has a charm all its own – the lush surroundings make my daily walk to the office feel like a stroll through a beautiful park. This environment truly adds a therapeutic start to each day, setting the tone for meaningful work.
Working here, I’ve found more than just colleagues; I’ve found a second family. We’re a team that supports one another, sharing both hard work and laughter, and there’s never a shortage of humor to brighten even the busiest days.
One of the best parts of my role is welcoming new students each semester. Every new face brings unique experiences and challenges that push me to grow and learn. Over the years, I’ve discovered the importance of being self-driven, tackling tasks step by step, setting clear goals, and always striving to be better. I believe that when you focus on doing good, life has a way of rewarding you at the right time. And above all, I’ve learned that life is about enjoying every moment – we can’t buy back even a single breath, so let’s make each one count.
This year, as Curtin Malaysia celebrates its 25th anniversary, I feel incredibly proud to be part of this journey. Here’s to all the memories we’ve created together! As we look ahead, I’m excited to see what the next decade holds and would love to hear what you envision for Curtin Malaysia’s future.”- Lydia Mujah, A long-time member of the Faculty Administration
