“How have I changed since joining Curtin Malaysia? For one thing, I’ve become more self-confident. The culture of inclusiveness and being part of a big family and encouraging students to actively engage in student life at this campus has turned a once shy and self-conscious girl from Zimbabwe into a much more confident and assertive global citizen. Let’s say I found my path to confidence, or rather my ‘runway’ to confidence, here. During the annual International Festival or iFest on campus, I participated in the fashion show and proudly showcased my culture on stage.
