“I was never a peanut lover. Everything changed (for the better!) when I started to dabble in homemade projects using my Thermomix. Who would have thought that cooking and baking could be as de-stressing as a visit to a spa? But there you go – the kitchen is now my favourite zen spot in my house.

“And if a recipe can be equated with a spa treatment, then my favourite ‘treatment’ would be homemade peanut butter. I remember clearly the moment when I made my first peanut butter spread and how it tasted so wonderfully nutty and rich – the way I imagined a melted gooey peanut should taste.

“The beauty of this particular recipe is that it does not only taste vastly different and natural, it’s also extremely simple (all you need is roasted peanuts!) and healthy (zero preservatives!) which makes it a really healthy alternative. And the best part? I can jazz it up with a variety of flavourings – dark chocolate, chocolate chips, matcha green tea…
