Isabella Wee Ying Zhi

“I’m a proud graduate of Curtin University (class of 2015). I studied at Curtin Malaysia before transferring to Curtin Perth for my final year. When I first joined the University, I never pictured myself being involved in the basketball club, but in 2014, I was offered the position of president of the Curtin Basketball Club a semester before I transferred to Curtin Perth. It took me some time to consider the offer but I accepted in the end. Managing the club wasn’t easy but I’m glad I had a strong committee to support me.

“Looking back, I really appreciated the experience. It was perhaps the most amazing semester I had at Curtin Malaysia. I am now the club advisor for the Curtin Basketball Club while working as a marketing officer with the university, and my friends tell me the club is still my baby.
