“Hi, I’m Harvina Kaur, a first-year Chemical Engineering student at Curtin Malaysia.

Completing my secondary education amid the pandemic was challenging. When it came time to select a university for further studies, I knew I needed a university that offered excellent guidance. That’s when I discovered Curtin Malaysia.

I joined the Foundation program, which was being conducted online at the time, in 2021. It was difficult not being on campus and not being able to physically interact with my professors or attend lab sessions. Nevertheless, my professors were amazing at guiding me through the topics.

There were other compelling reasons for choosing Curtin Malaysia. Its outstanding reputation for academic quality and commitment to providing a world-class education made it an excellent choice.

Secondly, the campus’ multicultural environment was very appealing. Studying at Curtin Malaysia allows me to engage with students from all over the world. This cultural exposure will not only benefit me in my academic career but also prepare me for a future career in the global workforce.
