“As a PETRONAS Education Sponsorship Programme (PESP) scholar, I’m deeply grateful for the chance to study chemical engineering at Curtin Malaysia, a place that constantly inspires me to grow. The supportive environment and dedicated lecturers have truly fuelled my love for learning.

Challenges are part of every student’s journey, but I’ve learned to embrace them. Each test and assignment has strengthened my resilience, and I remind myself to find joy in the process.

Beyond academics, I’ve found meaning in connecting and giving back. Through the New-to-Curtin Mentors, I’ve learned to communicate across cultures and organise events that bring people together. As a SuCCESS Mentor, helping middle school students with maths has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

A highlight of my journey was representing the Curtin Malaysia Chess Team at MASISWA 2024, where teamwork and passion led us to success and lasting memories.
