Dr Lew Tek Yew

“I joined Curtin Malaysia back in 2003 as a lecturer and have been truly blessed to be able to work with a world-ranked international university in the country. It has been a real privilege witnessing the evolution of the campus over the last 16 years.

“There have been many inspiring moments through the years, especially during our annual graduation ceremonies. I would always make it a point to attend the ceremonies and watch my students graduate. There is no greater joy for a lecturer to see students that you have taught and guided going onstage to receive their scrolls. Seeing the joy in their faces really means a lot to me. It gives me the satisfaction knowing that I have taught them well and helped them on journey to success.

“I’m also grateful to Curtin for providing support for me to pursue my PhD. Such appreciation of its staff is something to be valued as it helps us lecturers enhance our knowledge and grow in our field of expertise. As the Associate Dean, Learning & Teaching of the Faculty of Business now, and even after 16 years of service, I look forward to many more years of personal achievement, more inspiring moments, and brighter days for Curtin Malaysia.” –Dr Lew Tek Yew, Senior Lecturer, Human Resource Management, Faculty of Business
