Dr. Jong Ling

“I started out as an accounting and finance student at Curtin Malaysia. My career goal at the time was to be a Chartered Accountant. During my last semester, my ex-supervisor – Dr. Pauline Ho, persuaded me to enroll in Master of Philosophy (MPhil). Curtin provided full scholarship and monthly stipend for MPhil candidate. That was attractive so I decided to pursue it, while at the same time, I wanted to explore academic life.

I am thankful that I received financial support to present my research findings at City University of Hong Kong. The affirmative feedback from the reviewers prompted me to upgrade from MPhil to PhD.
