“Curtin Malaysia’s 20th Anniversary celebrations this year conjures many good memories being a proud member of the campus for 15 years. My journey with Curtin Malaysia began as Head of Student Services for two years before moving into teaching.

“Curtin Malaysia has inspired and supported me in many ways. For instance, its staff development programme gave me the opportunity to do my PhD. The university provides value for its staff by providing opportunities for us to grow, to be inspired and to excel in our respective fields. I truly thank Curtin for giving me a scholarship to develop and grow.

“I am always proud to be part of Curtin. Having people look up to you whenever you say you’re from Curtin Malaysia is testimony of its success. In my 15 years with the university, I’ve witnessed thousands of graduates heading out into the world and giving back to the community. I feel very honoured whenever I meet my ex-students who are doing well in their professional careers and the first thing they always say is “Thank you”.
