Daniel Saputra Agustian
“Hi, I’m Daniel Saputra Agustian, a Chemical Engineering student from Indonesia.
Studying abroad was always one of my dreams when I was younger, but when it was time to go to university, COVID-19 hit and dashed my dreams.
Luckily, in my final year in the chemical engineering programme at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), I found out there was an international credit transfer (ICT) programme that offered the opportunity to attend one semester at Curtin Malaysia. Without any hesitation, I applied to join the programme.
So finally got my dream of studying abroad, and furthermore at the largest international campus of one of the world’s most global universities. I am really grateful for the opportunity to be part of a global community and widen my perspectives.
Every class, workshop, and lab I have attended have helped me take a step closer to becoming a better engineer. I have absolutely no regrets applying for this programme. As Lewis Carrol said, “In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take”.
I will never forget the wonderful welcome and continuous support I have received from my lecturers, the campus staff, and my classmates throughout my study duration. Thank you UNPAR and Curtin Malaysia!” – Daniel Saputra Agustian, Chemical Engineering student
