“I’m grateful for the opportunity to study at Curtin Malaysia. My journey began in secondary school, when I discovered my passion for Chemical Engineering. Through school fairs and recommendations, I learned that Curtin Malaysia offers a world-ranked, Board of Engineers–accredited Chemical Engineering program, and that reputation convinced me to take the leap.

Being elected Vice President of the Curtin Malaysia IChemE Student Chapter in 2024 has been one of the highlights of my university life. The role sharpened my communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, and opened doors for me to connect with industry professionals.

For my Final Year Project, I’m honoured to be supervised by Dr Bridgid Chin, working on ‘Synergistic Effect of Co-Pyrolysis of Bamboo and High-Density Polyethylene.’ Her guidance and encouragement have shaped both my academic and personal growth.
