Angelina Laing

“Apart from teaching at Curtin Malaysia, I have discovered scuba diving. Curtin Malaysia provided me a platform to establish Curtin Dive Club Malaysia along with fellow divers Dr. Stephanie Chan and PhD student Lim Wee Teck, who are also members of the university. Curtin Dive Club assists both staff and students to get PADI scuba diving certification, at the same time expanding the diving community on campus. As one of the university’s certified divers, I’m one of the very few people who have explored the Miri-Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park just off Miri. In May 2015, I was certified as a reef check diver for Reef Check Malaysia along with Dr. Chan and Wee Teck.
