“I still remember the good feelings I had when I first stepped onto the Curtin Malaysia campus. The housing and marketing staff were very friendly and helped me get settled in Miri. I was really amazed by the airport pickup service provided by the housing staff. They were very responsive and efficient in resolving problems, especially in regards to student accommodations.

“When I first started in Foundation in 2019, I was a bit confused by the teaching methods which I was unused to, but my lecturers were very approachable and helpful. With their guidance, I got through that first year and I’m confident I’m on the right track now.

“Fast forward to 2020 and everything changed drastically with COVID-19. All learning activities moved online and I felt a bit overwhelmed. My lecturers did an excellent job conducting all the virtual labs, lectures and workshops online, continually trying new approaches, keeping things running smoothly, and most importantly, making sure their students were able to understand the subjects well.
