Adeline Huo Tzia Ning

“Hi, I’m Adeline Huo Tzia Ning, a final-year student in the Diploma in Commerce at Curtin Malaysia. Looking back, I wasn’t always sure if I should continue my studies after high school – I often wondered if I should just dive straight into the working world. But something inside me wanted to take on the challenge of being a student, to prove to myself that I could thrive both academically and in business.

Although the journey hasn’t been easy, my time at Curtin Malaysia has equipped me with valuable business knowledge and practical skills that I know will serve me well in my future career. The support I’ve received from my lecturers has been incredible. They’ve helped me to stay motivated and push through the challenges. Now, I feel confident that I’ll be able to apply everything I’ve learned in my own business ventures.

What really made my time here unforgettable, though, was getting involved in extracurricular activities. With a passion for business, I knew I had to go beyond the classroom. Joining clubs like the Curtin ESG Club and setting up business booths during campus events allowed me to meet amazing people and gain hands-on experience. These opportunities really sharpened my creative and critical thinking skills, and I’ve become a much better communicator thanks to Curtin’s diverse campus environment.

I’ve also grown in ways I didn’t expect – I’ve learned to adapt to different situations, work effectively with others, and develop technical skills that will definitely come in handy in the future. My time at Curtin Malaysia has been about so much more than academics – it’s about learning how to navigate life with confidence.

Overall, I’m incredibly grateful that I chose to study at Curtin Malaysia. It’s given me the supportive environment I needed to cultivate my passion for business, and I’m excited to take on whatever challenges and opportunities come my way next!” – Adeline Huo Tzia Ning, Diploma in Commerce student final-year student
